SafetyNet by LoJack
The Tyngsborough police department is pleased to report that we, because of our membership in NEMLEC, are participating in the SafetyNet by LoJack program. This program is an electronic search and rescue program for tracking and rescuing people at risk who wander and become lost due to Alzheimer’s, autism or other cognitive conditions.
Care givers pay a fee for the service, and it consists of a bracelet that can be worn on the wrist or ankle and should the person wander, the police department is called and provides a response that will search for and locate the individual.
More information about the service can be found at www.safetynetbylojack.com.
