Alex Emery, 37 yrs. old of Nashua – charged with Disorderly Conduct after urinating near exit 36 on Middlesex Road in view of passing motorists who reported the act to police.

Jonathan Held, 23  yrs. old of Chelmsford –  Arrested & charged with Operating Under the Influence of  Liquor, failure to yield at an intersection and marked lanes violation

Public Street parking ban

Effective as of 10 a.m. this morning a parking ban is in effect in Tyngsborough for all public roadways during the duration of the storm.  If travel is necessary please leave yourself extra travel time as the roadway conditions will continue to deteriorate as the day goes on.

Abuse prevention order violation

Cheryl Nelson, 45 yrs. old of Tyngsborough – charged with violation of an abuse prevention order


On Tuesday February 11th at 2pm Tyngsborough Police Officers responded to 112 Sherburne Ave. for a reported suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence.  Officers arrived and found a male subject standing near a vehicle parked in the driveway with its hood up, he initially told the officers that he was having engine problems.   The homeowners were not home at the time.  The subject repeatedly identified himself using what turned out to be a false name and date of birth.  A subsequent investigation revealed the subjects true identification and warrants for his arrest.   After we towed the vehicle from the scene, we discovered that the vehicle had been stolen out of Billerica, in addition the residence where the vehicle had been stolen from had been broken into and numerous items stolen.   Property stolen from the residence was recovered in the vehicle.

Richard McCullen, 30 yrs. old of Billerica was arrested and charged with the following;

  • (2) arrest warrants for past charges of possession of stolen property
  • Receiving a stolen motor vehicle

Additional charges may be forthcoming from our department; the Billerica Police Department is investigating the crimes that occurred in their community as well.


Person charged with Skate 3 thefts

As a result of a lengthy investigation into thefts of property at Skate 3, which occurred in December, the Tyngsborough Police Department has charged Timothy Brace, 36 yrs. old of Dracut with the following;

(1) count of Larceny from a building
(3) counts of Improper use of a credit card, under $250
(1) count of break & entering of a motor vehicle in the nighttime with the intent
of committing a felony
(1) count of larceny under $250
(2) counts of larceny of a credit card

This investigation was brought to a successful conclusion with the assistance of the Billerica & Dracut Police Departments.
