Arrest

On Tuesday February 11th at 2pm Tyngsborough Police Officers responded to 112 Sherburne Ave. for a reported suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence.  Officers arrived and found a male subject standing near a vehicle parked in the driveway with its hood up, he initially told the officers that he was having engine problems.   The homeowners were not home at the time.  The subject repeatedly identified himself using what turned out to be a false name and date of birth.  A subsequent investigation revealed the subjects true identification and warrants for his arrest.   After we towed the vehicle from the scene, we discovered that the vehicle had been stolen out of Billerica, in addition the residence where the vehicle had been stolen from had been broken into and numerous items stolen.   Property stolen from the residence was recovered in the vehicle.
