Credit card fraud charges

On January 25, 2013 officers responded to Dunkin Donuts located in the TJ Maxx Plaza in Tyngsborough for a complaint made by one of the employees.  Officers were told that two male subjects attempted to buy gift cards using a female’s credit card, when employees asked for identification the two males left.  The employee was able to give the officers the description of the subjects as well as the vehicle they were driving.

A subsequent investigation by the Tyngsborough Police revealed that these subjects had used the victims credit cards in other Tyngsborough businesses as well.  Upon reviewing video surveillance of these businesses two subjects were identified and were confirmed to be the same subjects who attempted to use the stolen credit card at Dunkin Donuts.

As a result of the investigation the following charges have been brought forward and an arrest warrant has been issued;

Jonathan Escobar, 23 yrs old             (3) counts of possession of a stolen credit card

368 Main Street Nashua, NH              (3) counts of improper use of a credit card

                                                                        (3) counts of larceny under $250
