Fire at Constantine Loam / 400 Dunstable Road

The fire that began this afternoon behind Constantine Loam has been contained,  however it will be several hours before fire crews are done ensuring the fire is completely extinguished.  The fire spread to 400 Dunstable Rd. (Pine Knoll apartments), damaging some of the exterior of  the building, all residents were evacuated.  The fire completely destroyed a garage, equipment and trailers that were located at Constantine Loam.

Westford Road between the Westford & Dunstable Rd. intersection and the Senior center on Westford Rd. will remain closed while emergency apparatus is on scene.

This message is to all residents of 400 Dunstable Road (Pine Knoll Apartments) or anyone else that has been displaced due to the fire that there has been a temporary shelter set up at the Senior Center located on Westford Rd.   Pine Knoll Apartments will not be accessible for at least 4 – 5 hours while fumes from the smoke are removed from the building, residents will be allowed back in when the building is deemed safe by the Tyngsborough Building Inspector.
