May 14th – Arrest for Violation of a Restraining Order

At 12:55 pm on Tuesday May 14th, Tyngsborough Police officers responded to a residence on Oregon Road after the department received a 911 call from the residence.  The two juvenile occupants of the residence at the time advised that there was a woman who walked into the backyard and was now throwing furniture into the pool.  The female also banged on the door to the home while the juveniles were on the phone with the Police Department.  Officers arrested Cheryl Nelson, 44 yrs. old of Tyngsborough, in the backyard of the residence and charged her with the following offenses; Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order and vandalizing property, she was booked at the Tyngsborough Police Department where she will be held overnight without bail pending her arraignment at Lowell District Court on Wednesday May 16th.
