Department News

message from school superintendent Ciampa

Good Morning,

Please be advised that I have been in contact with Tyngsborough Police Chief Howe regarding the school threat in Nashua.  We spoke last night about the situation and again this morning. The threat in Nashua was a specific threat towards their high schools. I appreciate the concern that we all share as a community, however, the Tyngsborough Public Schools will operate uninterrupted today and going forward.
Should the need arise to modify our operations or programming, I will be in immediate contact with you.

We are fortunate to have an outstanding partnership with our local police department and I will be speaking with Chief Howe throughout the day for updates on the situation.  The rise of social media has increased access and information about this issue. I am aware of the concerns that exist in our community, and I want to assure you that we are monitoring the situation.  Thank you for your understanding and support.
