The Tyngsborough Police Department is a progressive, community oriented police department that
provides both traditional and non-traditional police service to a town of approximately 12,000
residents located in the Merrimack Valley.

The Department promotes a philosophy that encourages the citizens of Tyngsborough to take an
active role in establishing and promoting a safe community. By building police community
partnerships, the police department becomes an integral part of the town.

These partnerships help prioritize and identify problems then address these issues. As a community
oriented police department, we are always looking for ways to interact with our community. We
recognize our mission is and will continue to be one of service to the community and commitment to excellence.
