Update on Donald Trump event

This is a reminder that the Donald Trump for President event being held at the Tyngsborough Elementary School is a private venue, ticket holders will be allowed inside the building beginning at 5pm.  A ticket does not guarantee your entry into the building. Once the building reaches capacity, as determined by Fire safety personnel, no further entry will be allowed.  Also, nobody will be allowed to enter the Tyngsborough Elementary School property until 4:15pm, this is to ensure that all students and parents have left the property after the school day.

Parking will not be allowed on any public roadways in the area, vehicles that park on public roadways will be subject to being towed.  Additional “no parking” signage has been added in the area for the safety of our residents and travelling public.    The Trump event organizers will make every attempt to park as many people as they can on the Elementary School property, there will be additional parking on the field next to Flint’s plaza. Trump organizers are providing shuttle buses which will be travelling back and forth from the event to the flint parking area as well.

We ask that people not bring duffle bags, large pocketbooks or wear bulky jackets; all persons on the property are subject to search or may be asked to leave. We also ask that people conduct themselves in a rational and respectful manner during the event.  People causing a disturbance or acting in a threatening manner of any kind will be removed from the property.

There will be significant traffic delays prior to and at the end of the event, we will make every effort to move traffic as quickly as possible and ask people who are coming to the event to be patient and expect delays.

Residents and others travelling in the area (specifically Westford Road), please use alternate routes if possible.

Our priority is to make this a safe event for all; we appreciate your anticipated cooperation.

Thank you.
