Update on Wake and funeral arrangements for Chief Charles Chronopoulos

Please see the following regarding the wake and funeral arrangements for retired Chief Charles Chronopoulos who passed on October 12th;
The Chief’s wake will be held at Dolan’s Funeral Home in Chelmsford on Monday, October 21st from 3-7 pm.  There will be overflow parking available across the street from Dolan’s at St. John The Evangelist Church.  There will be a law enforcement walk through at 5 pm, with members of the Tyngsborough Fire Department joining us as well.   We ask that all current and retired law enforcement officers who wish to take part in this walk through to please assemble in the parking lot behind Dolan’s at 4:45 pm.  The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 22nd, at 10 am, at St. Phillips Greek Orthodox Church in Nashua, NH.   There will be a private gathering at Dolan’s on Tuesday morning, then the Tyngsborough Police, and NEMLEC motorcycle unit will escort the Chief from Dolan’s.  The procession will proceed over the Rourke Bridge to Pawtucket Blvd, travelling on Chronopoulos Way, then across the Tyngsborough bridge, taking a left, then onto Westford Road in front of the Tyngsborough Police Department for a moment of silence (this should be approximately 9:30 – 9:40 am).   The escort will then proceed to the Church, and at the conclusion of the church service will provide an escort to the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscowen, NH where the Chief will be interred.
Thank you, please feel free to reach out to me, Deputy Woods, or Sgt. Ken Healey with any questions.
