Winter Storm updates

Town parking ban

Effective at 5pm today there is a public street parking ban for Tyngsborough, the ban will remain in effect throughout the duration of the storm and clean up.  Vehicles parked on public roadways are subject to being towed at the owners expense without warning; please assist our emergency personnel and Highway Department by removing any vehicles from the street.

State-wide travel ban

Tyngsborough Shelters

Plans have been made to open shelters as needed at the Tyngsborough High School and Elementary School.  We will provide additional updates when and if shelters are determined to be needed; this will depend on the severity of potential power outages.

Reporting Power Outages

If any power outages occur in your area PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO ASK WHEN POWER WILL BE RESTORED,  report power outages directly to National Grid via the phone number provided below.  The sooner that they can identify the location of the issue, the quicker they can respond.
