Message from the Chief

The Tyngsborough Police Department is a forward-thinking, community-focused agency providing both traditional and non-traditional policing services to a town of about 12,000 residents in the Merrimack Valley.

The department encourages residents of Tyngsborough to take an active role in building and maintaining a safe community. Through strong police-community partnerships, the department works closely with the town to remain an essential part of it.

These partnerships help identify and prioritize community concerns so they can be effectively addressed. As a community-oriented police department, we continuously seek new ways to engage with residents. Our mission remains centered on service to the community and a commitment to excellence.
